At Concierge Psych Med Management, LLC, in Hermitage, Pennsylvania, Chelsea Abbott, PMHNP-BC, provides adults with compassionate, personalized psychiatric and behavioral healthcare. The practice focuses on medication management, treating conditions like substance use disorder, treatment-resistant depression, and untreated attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Low energy, poor focus, anxiety, sadness, anger, overwhelm, and addiction can profoundly affect your ability to function and feel like yourself. While Chelsea encourages healthy habits, including good nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and meaningful connections, she knows that many patients benefit from the added support of psychiatric medication.
Given the complexity of mental health and that everyone responds differently to medication, prescribing is genuinely an art. Chelsea also offers optional lab testing to identify vitamin deficiencies or medical issues that can affect mood or energy, including low vitamin D and undiagnosed Lyme disease.
Her approach is collaborative and empowering: you unconsciously guide your treatment plan, while she helps you understand medication choices, safety, side effects, and what to expect so that you can make informed decisions together.
Chelsea earned her master’s degree in nursing from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and has strong professional connections within the psychiatric community. She uses the most current evidence-based practices and is passionate about improving access to psychiatric care.
Chelsea primarily offers telehealth appointments to clients within a 60-mile radius of her office, ensuring continuity and the ability to request an in-person evaluation when needed. No current prescribing laws require in-person visits for patients receiving controlled substances. No legal requirement demands that providers be local.
However, these regulations could change at any time. By limiting her service area, Chelsea protects her patients from disruptions in care if future rules require in-person appointments.
Concierge Psych Med Management, LLC, is dedicated to helping you achieve better mental health. Call the office or book an appointment online today.
Hormonal mood disorders can cause sudden shifts in energy, emotions, and well-being. These changes can lead to irritability, sadness, anxiety, and mood swings. Hormone imbalances are a key cause of premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) and postpartum depression in women. Understanding how hormones influence your mood is frequently the first step toward getting the right support.
Whether you’re dealing with low motivation, irritability, burnout, difficulty focusing, or persistent fatigue, I will work closely with you to understand your symptoms and identify the right medication strategy. Medication can help break through barriers that keep you feeling stuck, allowing you to function more effectively while you work on long-term healing. I also provide referrals for emerging treatment options, such as psychedelic-assisted therapies, when appropriate. While I do not prescribe ketamine or manage MAT, I can collaborate with other providers to ensure seamless, supportive care.
Anxiety, ADHD, and substance use disorders often coexist and can significantly disrupt work, relationships, and overall functioning. When these mental health conditions overlap, treating one can have a positive influence on the others. For example, addressing untreated ADHD can reduce anxiety, while stabilizing anxiety can support sustained recovery from SUD. I work to understand how these symptoms interact in your life and develop a treatment plan that helps you feel more focused, steady, and in control.
Trauma, unresolved anger, chronic irritability, and hormonal fluctuations—including postpartum depression—can create emotional instability and strain daily functioning. These symptoms may stem from past experiences, current stressors, or biological changes. I help patients identify the underlying drivers of their symptoms and use targeted therapeutic and medication approaches to improve emotional regulation. Treatment is designed to strengthen coping skills, enhance resilience, and support a more balanced and grounded sense of well-being.
